Living by Grace

Dedicated to providing guidance in daily living through the power of God's grace as experienced in our union with Christ.

Living in Two Worlds

By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible (Hebrews 11:27).

The above passage reveals that while Moses was living in Egypt, he also was living in a spirit world—seeing Him who is invisible.

Many often refer to the eleventh chapter of Hebrews “The Faith Chapter.” Verse one reads as follows:

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).

Faith knows that a spirit world exists—faith is evidence of the unseen. Faith lives in light of that spirit world where God, Who is spirit, reigns. When a person lives in that spirit world, he knows that good things are going to happen—faith is the substance of things hoped for.

Read the chapter and see that faith obeys the call of God, faith results in the miraculous, and faith keeps going regardless of how difficult life becomes. The faith life brings utter fulfillment.

And the quickest way for a believer to live in the spirit world while living in this world is to live out the five imperatives of Romans 6:11-13.
